Major cities 'are best investment location in India'
Those looking to buy property in India need to plan their purchase shrewdly and focus on the good investment locations.
That is according to Hetal Shah, director of Investors Provident, who maintained that buyers have to be "picky" as only certain parts of India are ripe for investment.
He advised people against considering property in undeveloped areas such as villages and farmland, asserting that the country's major cities represent the best investment locations.
As well as recommending cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, Mr Shah said that satellite towns are also good areas to purchase property in.
He commented: "India is a huge country and you will have to be quite picky about where you invest. Not all of India is a good investment opportunity.
"You'll never lose out around the major cities, especially when you have a booming economy and a growing middle class."
