British buyers 'continue to flock to Spain'
The Spanish property market will continue to enjoy popularity with British buyers owing to a number of factors.
That is according to Paul Bradley, a spokesperson for the Spanish Property Owners Guild, who maintained that Spain offers a "wonderful life" to those looking to get away from the UK.
He went on to say that there were a number of factors, such as increased living costs and taxation in Britain, which served to increase the appeal of Spanish property for UK buyers.
Mr Bradley commented: "Spain will continue as a popular venue for both holidays and second home ownership.
"We also have a growing number of Brits dissatisfied with increasing taxation, costs of living, immigration, violence etc [in the UK] simply making a new life here.
"For all these reasons Spain will always continue to be popular. I've been here for 20 years - it is still a wonderful life."
