Argentinean property market set for growth
Argentina represents a good opportunity for those interested in overseas property investment, an industry expert has claimed.
According to Emma Holifield, PR and marketing executive at Property Frontiers, Argentinean property offers buyers "good value for money" when compared with other emerging markets, such as certain countries in Eastern Europe.
She commented: "In Argentina, a high standard of living, stable inflation and a growing economy have created a growing middle class with a large amount of disposable income to spend on second homes.
"For foreigners investing in Argentina this means good value for money."
Ms Holifield went on to say that the country's booming tourism sector will lead to growth in the property market.
This is in addition to the fact that property in Argentina is already enjoying "strong local demand".
Emerging markets attract between 30 to 35 per cent of the money invested in foreign property, according to a report published by the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP).
