Maidenbower is one of Crawley’s newest neighbourhoods, located south east of the town centre. The area comprises almost 4,000 households and over 9,000 residents and as local estate agents covering the Maidenbower area we are pleased to offer a housing selection that is more varied than many other parts of Crawley. As well as flats, apartments and maisonettes, you’ll also find detached and semi-detached properties here. Building in the area first started in 1986 and was completed by the early 2000s.

The average price for a property in Maidenbower is approximately £310,000, increasing by almost 20% since 2010. The average detached property sells for almost £450,000, while terraced homes are more likely to go for nearer to £280,000.

The area is suitable for young families but is also popular with commuters and young professionals due to its proximity to Gatwick Airport and transport links to London.

In recent times, the neighbourhood has become more of a target for buy-to-let investors, with more properties subsequently being privately rented.

The area is home to a small parade of shops as well as a community centre. In 2006, a large piece of art – created by local schools and community members – was installed in one of the area’s entrance roads.

Local primary schools are The Brook Infant School and Maidenbower Infant and Junior School. Sought after secondary school Oriel High School is located in Maidenbower, while Thomas Bennett Community College is only a short journey away.

The neighbourhood is extremely close to Three Bridges railway station, which provides strong links to Gatwick Airport, Brighton and London.
