Furnace Green is an ideal location for families due to its extensive range of medium to large sized homes. It is also in close proximity to the centre of Crawley, where our local estate agency office is based in the Broadwalk.

It is a small neighbourhood located to the east of Crawley town centre in West Sussex. The area has over 2,000 households and is home to almost 5,500 people. The neighbourhood’s best-known attraction is the Hawth, a theatre which opened in 1988 and offers a diverse mix of theatre, dance and music all year round. Housing here predominantly comprises semi-detached and terraced properties, most of which were built between 1960 and 1980. The average house price in Furnace Green is around the £265,000 mark – similar to the rest of Crawley. However, good size properties can be purchased here for significantly cheaper than in neighbouring areas like Maidenbower and Pound Hill.

Primary schools St. Andrews and The Oaks are both situated in Furnace Green. Secondary schools Oriel High School and Thomas Bennett Community College are located very close by.

Furnace Green is extremely close to both Crawley and Three Bridges railway stations, as well as the M23 motorway which provides access to London and Brighton.
