Spiritually connected to the surroundings: Puristische Villa

Puristische Villa is a dream home designed after carefull consideration of the client’s wishes and needs. Located in the suburbs of Darmstadt, Germany, the villa displays a strong connection between the interior and exterior spaces, bringing natural light deep into the inside spaces. Designed by Netzwerkarchitekten, the modern house displays a collection of simple shapes that form a volumetric architecture. Surrounded by tall, full-crown trees, and resting on a slightly sloped terrain, the fascinating Puristische Villa was built with the private spaces overlooking the small valley, where rooftops rising from between trees compose the view.

Covering a total surface of 378 square meters of carefully designed interior spaces on a 1,150 square meters property, the three story residence displays a pure white architecture opened to the views at every level through glazed walls and doors. This concept of openness visually brings the outside in a successful attempt of seamlessly creating a spiritual connection to the surroundings. The pure white exteriro continues to be seen on the inside, creating an even stronger connection between the inside and the outside. These fantastic photos by Jörg Hempel will help better understand how this home is essentially a modern oasis of comfort and style.
