Architectural meaningful blunders

Somewhere in man’s mind lies a sense of beauty. Some explore it and apply it to places of group living. This gives it a style and it becomes architecture of that community

According to EC guy-

“Architecture is something that hasn’t been achieved by mankind at every moment of the history. Architecture is a not -yet-realized dream of human desire to create something that might open a new era or possibility for the world. It is not simply a dwelling or building, and it is one of the things that can hardly be described by a word or two.” However, if I must pick a word that describes the best for architecture, I’d like to choose “new-world”.

Likewise many people gave their own beautiful definitions and many artists tried to implement these literal definitions into their arts and they took these definitions way too seriously.  Let’s try to match few of the definitions with the designs.

“Architecture is music in space, as it were a frozen music”

“There are three forms of visual art: Painting is art to look at, sculpture is art you can walk around, and architecture is art you can walk through”

“Architecture is the art of how to waste space.”

“Architecture starts when you carefully put two bricks together. There it begins.”

“This building is like a book. Its architecture is the binding, its text is in the glass and sculpture.”

“Architecture is the act of creating a safe, comfortable and aesthetic micro-environment within the harsh macro-environment.”

“Our architecture reflects truly as a mirror.”

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

“Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves.”

“Designers are meant to be loved, not to be understood.”

“I’m convinced that without bad design, the world would be a far less stimulating place; we would have nothing to marvel over and nothing to be nostalgic about.”
