We’ll start with the most interesting construction set upside down – a church. Located in Harbour Green Park,Vancouver, this church sits on its steeple, hence the name – Device to Root Out Evil. Made out of modern materials like aluminum and glass, the church was built by Dennis Oppenheim.

2. Norman Johnson’s Upside-Down House
This one has it all – including upside down furniture inside and a fascinating upside down carport, just as a normal house would display in a normal suburban environment. Except this house and all its features makes you dizzy. Built to draw attention to homes for sale, this Norman Johnson model house can be seen in Florida’s Sunrise Golf Village.

3. Wonderworks
Built as “an amusement park for the mind“, Wonderworks upside down house can be enjoyed in two locations – one is at Pigeon Forge USA and the other one awaits visitors in Orlando, Florida. It does question the way we look at houses, structures and the surrounding world.

4. Upside-down house
This Upside-down house in Getorff, Germany, is a fantastic model of a residential house, but its name does not even begin to express its fascination. Built by three carpenters – Gerhard Mordhorst, Gesellse Splettstober and Manfred Kolax – the 23 feet tall upside down house acts as a zoo – imagine that!

5. The World Stands on Its Head
